Package focused, reusable knowledge or procedures as a Skill that an agent can discover and load when the topic is relevant, then prepare it to be bound to an agent.

Why this challenge?

Skills keep specialist knowledge reusable and focused. Separating it from the agent's permanent identity makes agents easier to maintain, extend, and govern.

Use the Skill wizard to author and review reusable instructions without opening a repository or managing YAML yourself.

Console journey

Move through this journey one milestone at a time. Each step opens the place you need next.

    Open Create Skill

    Go to Skills -> Create Skill and choose one focused capability or procedure.

    Describe when it helps

    Give the Skill a specific name and description so an agent can discover it progressively when the topic is relevant. If you used the Petstore API, paste its Swagger URL into Copilot and ask it to create a concise Skill associated with that API.

    Write the reusable instructions

    Copy your completed Skill into the Console Skill form, review the name, description, and instructions, and save it. Keep secrets, credentials, and the agent's permanent identity out of the Skill.

    Review and publish

    Use the Console review flow to save the Skill, then confirm it appears in the Skills registry ready for binding.
