Auto-verified from Console activity

Build a minimal production HostedAgent from its required identity, Gateway, authorization, runtime, prompt, and model settings, then validate, deploy, and test it through Anvil GitOps.

Why this challenge?

A production agent is more than a prompt. This challenge teaches the complete delivery chain, from governed configuration and schema validation to reconciliation and a verified runtime response.

How do you want to work?

Choose your preferred workflow. All paths reach the same outcome — pick what fits your style.

Use the Console wizard to configure and test an agent. You can stay in the Console; the platform will guide any required submission or approval step.

Console journey

Move through this journey one milestone at a time. Each step opens the place you need next.

  1. 1
    Create a new agent

Open Create a new agent and choose Chatbot/Conversational AI. This skips the guided builder flow. If your Application Service lacks a Gateway registration, continue through the setup before returning to the agent form.

    Open in Console
  2. 2
    Complete the required configuration

Fill in the agent display, model, prompt, authorization, runtime, and Gateway fields. Do not move on while the form shows required-field errors.

  3. 3
    Review the change

Review the generated configuration and choose the available Console submission path. The Console may save directly for eligible services or open a managed change for review.

  4. 4
    Wait for availability

Do not test until the Console reports that the agent is available or successfully synchronized; a saved draft is not necessarily live.

    Choose an agent
  5. 5
    Try the live agent

Navigate to the Web Components tab, scroll down to the test area, and send a harmless question to test the agent directly in the Console. Use the request lifecycle Help article to understand what happened. Once the agent answers, your first agent is done — then create a Tool the agent can use.

    Agent name

Copy the qualified name shown at the top of your agent.
