Connect the registered API or MCP Tool and Skill from Build to a HostedAgent, deploy both bindings, and prove that the agent can use the Tool with the Skill's instructions.

Why this challenge?

Tool creation and ToolBinding solve different problems: registration makes a capability reusable, while binding gives one agent permission and context to use it. This is the step that turns an asset into agent behavior.

Use the agent Configure tab to add both the registered Tool and Skill, save the change through the available managed workflow, and test them together in Try It Out.

    Open the agent Configure tab

    Open the target managed agent and select Configure, then find the Tools or capabilities section.

    Choose the Tool and Skill

    Choose the API or MCP Tool, then save it. Choose the Skill, then save it.

    Try the live agent

    Navigate to the Web Components tab, scroll down to the test area, and send a harmless question that uses the bound Tool. Confirm the response follows the Skill instructions while the tool result appears in the response or trace.

    Copy the qualified name shown at the top of your agent.
